Mark your calendars for the 42nd Annual Professional Women Controllers (PWC) Conference with the theme of “Our Northern Skies” — a suitable name for a conference taking place in Ottawa, Canada.
Held from April 6-9, 2020, the PWC’s first international conference will provide you with the opportunity to connect with other air traffic services professionals and will focus on building networks and enhancing co-operation between NAV CANADA and our counterparts in the FAA.
Why should you join us at the conference? We have some exciting things in store for PWC attendees!
The conference takes place at the historic Fairmont Château Laurier, located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The Château Laurier is minutes away from the city’s biggest attractions including the Parliament Buildings, Rideau Canal, Byward Market, National Gallery of Canada, Shaw Center, and the National Arts Centre.
On April 6, take a day trip to the Diefenbunker Museum, Canada’s Cold War Museum, and join us at the conference’s opening reception that night.
April 7 to 9 will feature training sessions on technology, safety, ATS coordination, gender-related workplace issues, personal accountability, NexGen Innovations, training the workforce of Tomorrow, self-empowerment, system operations/traffic management, and more.
We’ll close things off on April 9, when you can cut a rug with us at the 1950s sock hop-themed closing banquet, held at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum. It’ll be a bash!
