Farnborough International Airshow
09h00 - 15h00
The Farnborough International Airshow is an international trade and consumer fair of the aerospace industry. The fair takes place on the premises of the Farnborough Airfield, about 50 kilometres south-west of London. The airshow takes place every two years and along with the international aerospace exhibition in Berlin, the ILA, as well as the Paris Airshow in Le Bourget it is one of the most important airshows in the world. All well-known aircraft and engine manufacturers as well as aerospace companies gather here to present their product innovations, open up new fields of business and make sales. During the fair, an air show with extensive aeronautical demonstrations is offered to the visitors. Visitors arriving by plane can reach the fair grounds in about 40 minutes by taxi from London Heathrow Airport. Although there is a bus connection between London Heathrow Airport and the Farnborough Airfield, this is only recommended for visitors who have plenty of time, as the ride takes approximately 3 hours. For those arriving by car, parking is available in sufficient quantity in the immediate vicinity of the airfield. On the first 5 days the Farnborough Airshow is open exclusively to trade visitors and on the last two days also to the general public.
