The Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Clerk to support daily administrative and clerical operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, providing internal support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general clerical duties, including data entry
- Maintain and organize digital and physical records, contracts and project documentation
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and schedule appointments
- Manage correspondence (phone, email, in-person) and prioritize urgent matters
- Support purchase order processing
- Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets with accurate data, including formatting and editing
- Setup and provide technical support for virtual webinars
- Maintain contact database and distribute correspondence and newsletters
- Liaise with staff, clients, and vendors to support operations
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information
- Provide administrative support for special projects as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual French and English preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and database systems; ability to use design software an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and professional, team-oriented approach
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred
